H O L A,

All good mermaids need treasures to fill their trove. So, I'm traveling the globe to create precious memories of my own. This world has so many hidden gems just waiting to be uncovered! May you find some, too. Con amor y alegría...

Opposite the border of urban San Sebastian is the hippie town of Biarritz. The cool people, funky style, & consistent surf are just a few of the reasons why Biarritz makes my unofficial "Top 3 Places I've Ever Been" list. I'll definitely be going back!

- Don't drink the tap water.

- Plan on eating before 2 or after 5 when restaurants are open. For reasonably priced food with a priceless view: Le Surfing. And gotta have a macaroon.

- DO go shopping. Even if you're just browsing. There are so many unique stores and the locals who work there are all super nice and fun to talk to. I rented a foamy from the Quiksilver store for like $15/day!

But honestly, other than that, not a whole lot of tips for Biarritz. It's small enough to wander in a day. Fun enough to stay for a month. One day we stumbled upon a surf contest/indie concert with tepees and magic carpets. Who knows what you'll find!

P.S. The boys here are veryyyy cute. :)
